National Young Mathematicians Competition

Four of our outstanding mathematicians in year 6 recently entered a competiton run by Explore Learning in conjunction with NRICH at the University of Cambridge. Having got through round one they competed in the Regional Final on 22nd November. They came second regionally and 11th nationally and although they didn't get through to the final, the letter from the organisers says "The children demonstrated a really advanced approach to problem solving and I was particularly impressed with Henry who shone out". I would like to congratulate them on their great success. They are Caitlin Frank, Tiffany Chung, Henry Antonowicz and Max Halton.
